Gastown can afford to arm her War Boys well. Scrotus' elite snipers, or Leadslingers, are armed with very accurate scoped rifles and plenty of ammo [courtesy of faraway Bullet Farm]. Weapons like this do not fall into the hands of just anyone. Leadslingers are used to protect Scrotus' many interests [camps, convoys, scarecrows, etc.] from afar, creating a dangerous perimeter around them. Leadslingers will shoot at anything they do not recognize, be it an armored car or a walking human.
Tip: Leadslingers are best dealt with from afar, using their own weapon of choice - a high powered long range rifle. Evade when reflection from the scope flashes red.
